Popcorn Theology For All Ages

Popcorn Theology 600w thumbail.png

This is an intergenerational class for families with kids and adults who are young at heart.  It is “drop in friendly” so you can come to all the classes or just the ones you like.

In this 6 session summer series on 2nd and 4th Sundays, we explore the selections from “Popcorn Theology for All Ages” — the latest from the “popcorn collection.”

This curriculum:

  • examines how the choices we make affect our lives and the lives of others
  • explores how concepts such as truth and meaning are related to perspective and point of view
  • helps students understand ways in which emotions such as fear, sadness, hurt and anger often motivate the actions of people
  • helps students consider ways in which our faith can help us understand our questions, seek answers, and deal with the challenges of life

Students will watch a movie excerpt, discuss themes from the movie, and do related fun activities.

COST

Classes in this series are free.  When you come to class, a $5 love offering is welcome to help replenish supplies.
